3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES – December 4, 2019 Planning Commission Meeting
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS
a) Heritage Tree Removal Permit– 189 Greenoaks Drive (APN 061-092-030) – Request for a Heritage Tree Removal Permit to allow for the removal of one (1) on-site Heritage Canary Island Pine tree. Atherton Municipal Code Chapter 8.10.
Recommendation: Approve the Heritage Tree Removal Permit.
b) Special Structures Permit– 50 Belbrook Way (APN 073-202-990) – Request for a Special Structures Permit (SSP) to allow for a retaining wall greater than 6 feet in height. Atherton Municipal Code Chapters 17.15 and 17.46.
Recommendation: Approve the Special Structures Permit.
d.) Heritage Tree Removal Permit– 2 Douglass Way (APN 070-371-090) –Request for a Heritage Tree Removal Permit to allow for the removal of one (1) on-site Heritage Deodar Cedar Tree. Atherton Municipal Code Chapters 8.10.
Recommendation: Deny the Heritage Tree Removal Permit.
e) Heritage tree Removal Permit– 98 Monte Vista Avenue (APN 070-142-030) – Request for a Heritage Tree Removal Permit to allow for the removal of one on-site Heritage Deodar Cedar tree. Atherton Municipal Code Chapter8.10.Recommendation: Approve the Heritage Tree Removal Permit for the removal of three (3) Heritage trees (Trees # 8 a 41-inch Valley Oak, # 11 a 20.7-inch Olive, and #49 an 18.9-inch Coast Live Oak and Deny the Heritage Tree Removal Permit for the removal of two (2) Heritage trees (Trees #17 a 17.8-inch Coast Live Oak and #48 an 18.5-inch Coast Live Oak).

If you challenge a Town zoning, planning, or any other decision in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this agenda, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council at, or prior to, the public hearing. Judicial review of any Town administrative decision may be had only if a petition is filed with the court not later than the 90th day following the date upon which the decision becomes final. Judicial review of environmental determinations may be subject to a shorter time period.
Copies of all staff reports and documents subject to disclosure that relate to each item of business referred to on the agenda are available for public inspection by 5:00 p.m. the Friday before each regularly scheduled Planning Commission meeting at the Atherton Library, 2 Dinklespiel, Station Lane, and the Town Administrative Offices, 91 Ashfield Road, Atherton, CA 94027.In compliance with SB 343, materials related to an item on this Agenda submitted to the Planning Commission after distribution of the agenda packet are available for public inspection in the Town Administrative Offices, 91 Ashfield Road, during normal business hours.
Planning Commission decisions are appealable by any aggrieved person to the City Council within 10 days of the date of the decision.
